We are pleased to announce that SolarGen have recently become one of the first solar companies in the UK to use Enecsys Micro Inverters, these inverters have really become very popular lately with our customers. Recent solar installations that we have used this inverter technology include Lindfied, Haywards Heath and Eastbourne as well as many other locations around the SE of England. The SolarGen team have more experience installing this new solar technology in the UK than any other company. You can find out more about the Enecsys Micro inverters in our solar equipment section.

Mr S from Outwood, Redhill, Surrey had 14 Sharp 245 panels fitted on 2 separate south facing roofs in March 2011 and this is what he had to say:

Following the success of my solar water heating system I was looking for further ways to reduce the property carbon footprint.  Research showed that PV, with the added benefit of the feed-in tariff was the way to go and I contacted several PV installation companies that were either very expensive or could only provide questionable support for their product, finally I contacted Solargen  The response from Solargen was both professional and helpful with the sales team able to answer my many questions clearly with credible backup.  The  system proposed by Solargen made good use of the available roof space and I was led through the quotation and contract process.  When it came to the installation, the team were both efficient and courteous and the system was completed just in time for the best spring for many years. The system so far has outperformed against the estimated output by 25%, and with further price rises in electricity costs on the horizon the benefits of PV can only increase.  The entire experience was so smooth, my immediate neighbour has decided on a Solargen PV array to be installed in a couple of weeks.

Mr & Mrs C of St leonards, East Sussex had 14 Sharp 245 panels giving them a 3.43KW system.

'The Solargen people were pleasant and easy to deal with. They really knew their business, dealing with technical and practical queries competently and clearly.  They came when they said, did the job without fuss, and cleared up quickly.  And the system they installed is so far delivering well above forecast.' To support the last point, by the way: after two months the kwh output stands at 883. See the photos of the completed solar PV system below.

Mr & Mrs S from Hove had 16 x Sanyo HIT 235 modules giving a 3.76KW system.

‘’We feel very lucky to have come across Solargen. When you are spending £10000 to 15000 you need to have confidence in the company you are dealing with. Having been around for many years was reassuring.
From the start the salesman was very helpful without being pushy. The price was very competitive. The installers of the panels knew their craft. The electrician did a very neat and tidy job. They all came when they said they would, were pleasant and cleared up afterwards. All products used were top end quality. We went for Sanyo panels and cannot believe how well they are performing. The estimated return on our system is £1500.00 per year. We are far exceeding those estimates, tax free and index linked, plus the savings on our energy bills. If you get the right company and right products you cannot go wrong. Thank you Solargen, we certainly got it right.’’ Please see a photo of the finished installation below.
